Lowcountry Haven RV Park

Park Rules and Policies

6843 Savannah Hwy, Ravenel, SC 29470 | Office: (843) 548-7399 | office@lowcountryhavenrv.com

Welcome to Lowcountry Haven RV Park. These rules keep the park quiet, clean and safe for everyone. By checking in, all guests and visitors on your site agree to follow them. Management may ask anyone who doesn’t follow these rules to leave without refund.

1. Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-in is 3:00 PM. Check-out is 11:00 AM. Late check-out may be available; call the office to inquire.
  • We provide a contactless check-in experience. Your site will be ready for you at your specified reservation time. Upon arrival, proceed directly to your site.
  • You are only permitted to access the site that matches your reservation. You must contact the office and change your reservation prior to switching sites. We do our best to accommodate our guests need but cannot guarantee amendments to reservations.
  • A valid photo ID and License Plate numbers are required at check-in. Monthly guests must also provide vehicle registration and proof of RV insurance.

2. Payment, Deposits and Cancellations

  • Nightly and weekly stays are paid in full at time of reservation.
  • Rates are plus applicable taxes.
  • Cancel before your reservation start for a full refund.
  • Cancelations after your reservation start time are ineligible for refund.
  • Monthly stays require a signed monthly agreement, the first month’s rent and a $300 security deposit. Rent is due on the 1st of each month. A $50 late fee applies after the 5th. Monthly rental rates may be prorated to fulfil payment for partial months preceding or ending an extended stay.
  • Monthly guests must give 30 days’ written notice before leaving. The deposit is returned within 30 days after move-out, less any unpaid charges or damage to the site.
  • No refunds for early departure.
  • An additional night’s fee may be charged for late departures.

3. Electric, Water and Sewer

  • Electric is included in your site rent. Every site is metered. Monthly stays include up to 1,000 kWh per month; usage above that is billed at Market Rate.
  • Use only the pedestal outlet that matches your rig (50, 30 or 20 amp). Do not modify, open or tamper with the pedestal, breaker or meter. Report any electrical problem to the office right away.
  • A surge protector is strongly recommended. The park is not responsible for damage to your RV from power surges, storms or outages.
  • A water pressure regulator is required on all water connections.
  • In freezing weather, protect your own hose and connections (heated hose or disconnect overnight). Damage to park water lines caused by an unprotected hose will be charged to the site.
  • Sewer hoses must be in good condition with no leaks, and must connect to the sewer inlet with a threaded fitting or rubber donut seal. Use a hose support to keep it off the ground.
  • Keep your black tank valve closed until the tank is at least half full, then dump and flush.
  • Never dump gray or black water on the ground.
  • Do not put grease, wipes, paper towels or feminine products in the sewer.

4. RV and Site Requirements

  • Lowcountry Haven has no bathhouse or laundry. All RVs must be fully self-contained with a working bathroom, shower, and fresh, gray and black water tanks.
  • Pads are about 45 feet long by 18 feet wide. Rigs must fit on the pad without blocking the road or a neighbor’s site. Rigs may hang off the back of the pad so long as they do not obstruct staff walking around the site.
  • Monthly stays: RVs must be no more than 15 years old or be approved by management after inspection. RVs must be kept in good, clean condition, with no visible damage, missing skirting, tarps or broken windows.
  • No sheds, storage containers, fences, decks, clotheslines, window AC units, outdoor refrigerators or freezers, or tarps on the site.
  • One small outdoor mat at the entry step is fine. Do not cover the grass with large mats or carpet, and do not dig, plant or alter landscaping.
  • Keep outdoor furniture, grills and belongings neat and on your pad. Bicycles, toys and gear must be put away when not in use.
  • Open fires on the ground are not allowed. Propane fire pits and grills are permitted if they are never left unattended. Follow any county burn bans.

5. Vehicles and Parking

  • Each site includes one parking space next to the pad. Additional vehicles must park in the overflow lot.
  • Each booking is allowed a maximum of two vehicles, this does not include a RV.
  • No parking on the grass, the roads or empty sites.
  • Speed limit in the park is 5 mph. Watch for children, pets and walkers.
  • Boats, utility trailers and work trailers are not permitted on site.
  • No ATVs, dirt bikes or unlicensed drivers on park roads.
  • No vehicle or RV repairs on site beyond minor emergency repairs. No oil changes or fluid draining. Any oil or fuel spill must be reported and cleaned up at the guest’s expense.
  • Inoperable or unregistered vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.

6. Guests and Visitors

  • Maximum of 4 adults per site, plus their minor children. Everyone staying overnight must be documented on a reservation.
  • Day visitors are welcome but must park in the overflow lot and leave by 10:00 PM. Overnight visitors must register and may be charged a fee.
  • Registered guests are responsible for the conduct of their visitors.
  • Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

7. Quiet Hours and Conduct

  • Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This includes, but is not limited to, music, TVs, generators, vehicles and barking dogs.
  • Generators may not be run in the park except during power outages.
  • Fireworks, discharging firearms, and illegal drugs are prohibited.
  • Drunk, threatening, abusive or disruptive behavior toward guests or staff will not be tolerated and is grounds for immediate removal without refund.
  • Smoking is permitted outdoors on your own site only. Cigarette butts go in the trash, never on the ground.
  • Sites may not be subleased, shared with unregistered guests, used to run a business or sell goods.

8. Pets

  • Up to 2 pets per site. Pets must be registered on your reservation with proof of current rabies vaccination.
  • Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times outside your RV, except inside the dog park.
  • Never leave a pet unattended outside, including on tie-outs or in pens.
  • Clean up after your pet immediately, everywhere in the park, and bag the waste before putting it in the dumpster.
  • Pets that are aggressive, bite, or bark persistently must be removed from the park.
  • Do not leave pets in a vehicle or RV without adequate power and cooling.

Dog Park

  • Use at your own risk. Owners are responsible for their dogs’ behavior and any injury or damage they cause.
  • Dogs must be vaccinated, licensed and free of illness or fleas. Dogs in heat are not allowed.
  • Owners must stay in the dog park with their dogs and keep a leash in hand.
  • Remove any dog showing aggression immediately.
  • Pick up after your dog. Close and latch both gates every time.
  • Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult. No food or dog toys that cause fights.

9. Trash and Dumpsters

  • Bag all household trash and place it inside the dumpsters. Close the lids. Do not leave trash outside the dumpster or on your site.
  • Do not put the following in the dumpsters: tires, batteries, propane tanks or other pressurized cans, oil, paint, chemicals, electronics, furniture, mattresses, appliances or construction debris.
  • Break down boxes before throwing them away.

10. WiFi

  • WiFi is provided free as a courtesy. Speed and availability are not guaranteed.
  • Illegal downloading or any illegal activity on the park network is prohibited and may result in loss of access and dismissal from the park.
  • Please limit heavy use (large downloads, multiple 4K streams) so everyone gets fair speeds. Monthly guests who need guaranteed speed for work should consider their own hotspot.

11. Hurricanes and Severe Weather

  • If a mandatory evacuation order covers Ravenel, all guests must leave the park with their RVs and pets.
  • When a hurricane or tropical storm watch is issued, secure or bring inside all awnings, furniture and loose items.
  • The park is not responsible for damage to RVs, vehicles or property caused by weather, falling limbs, flooding or power loss.
  • No rent refunds or credits are given for weather-related evacuations or outages.

12. Liability

  • Guests use the park, the dog park and all facilities at their own risk. Lowcountry Haven RV Park LLC and its owners are not responsible for accidents, injuries, theft, or loss or damage to property.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage to park property caused by them, their visitors or their pets.
  • Management may enter a site (not an RV) for maintenance, meter reading or emergencies.
  • Management may refuse service to anyone and may update these rules at any time. Monthly guests will be given 30 days’ notice of changes.
  • Guests agree to indemnify Lowcountry Haven RV Park, LLC its owners, managers, and employees from all losses caused by intentional or negligent acts or omissions of Guests and their guests, children, or pets.
